I could attack them, I could hear them, I could see their names, they appeared on the compass on everything. I ran away for a bit, and looked behind me, when the chief and his buddy faded into view, took two steps towards me and faded away again. I could hear them being mad at me, and I was suddenly attacked by something, to which I turned around and saw the name "Bandit Chief", but no one was there. I arrived there and killed off two bandits of four bandits on my compass, but I couldn't see the other two, "Bandit" and "Bandit Chief".
Another example is that place where you look for the jagged crown. For example, when getting to the village where some miners are being harassed by "gangsters" or whatever they are, ALL people were invisible, but I could still hear them, and when I walked up to where they are supposed to be, their names popped up as if I was looking at them, but no one "was there". So, I'm having trouble with NPCs fading in and out, and sometimes being just straight up invisible.
